Virginia Department of Transportation
S.I.R. has supported VTC for over three decades. Most recently, S.I.R. led the development of VTC’s 5-year statewide strategic plan and individual roadmaps for Virginia’s 10 regions, engaging more than 750 travel and tourism leaders through interviews, listening sessions, and two surveys.

We have supported a variety of initiatives to help VCCS understand, reach, and support the diverse populations it serves, including targeted quantitative and qualitative research into Virginia’s Black, LatinX, and Native American residents, as well as ALICE residents, working adults, and veterans and military spouses

Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles
S.I.R. has supported the DMV on a wide range of research and planning projects, including statewide resident satisfaction studies, communications campaign creative and production support, employee surveys, and the development of DMV’s strategic plan, to name a few.

Virginia Dept. of Rail & Public Transportation
S.I.R.’s long-standing support for DRPT has included dozens of commuter studies across the Commonwealth. Most recently, through secondary and trends research, as well as interviews and focus groups with public transit leaders, we helped DRPT develop a COVID-19 recovery guidebook for transit providers navigating the unprecedented situation facing their operations.

S.I.R. conducted a robust study examining the needs and experiences of current and prospective foster caregivers to support a forthcoming statewide awareness, education, and recruitment campaign and has also provided message development and leadership media training to inform a strategic program launch.
