As a Managing Partner at S.I.R., Susan Baxter is very intentional about understanding how to make things better – business, communities, and relationships. That's why she's ideally suited to lead S.I.R.'s strategic planning practice area. Most of what makes Susan so good at her job is her relentless pursuit of information. She'll ask the who, what, when, where, and how questions until she gets what is needed to help our clients.
Susan helps clients solve business issues, tighten up processes and procedures, and help keep the focus on what's important in moving the business forward. She does it with grace, humility, and an undeniable passion for getting the best answers.
Susan is also a connector, investing time in several nonprofits in RVA and bringing together people and resources to make things happen. Her early career included a long stint at Procter & Gamble in their innovation think tank, the Healthcare Consumer Institute.
When she is not working, you can find her running, walking, or biking the Capital Trail and exploring new areas she’s never been.
